If you miss the good old days where your doctor spent time with you and treated you like a respected individual, you’ll be thrilled to join My Cullman Doctor. I'm diligently working to change primary care in Cullman for the better, one patient at a time.

I work for my patients, not insurance companies or corporate medicine. Practicing in a direct primary care model of medicine allows me to take my time. This enables me to listen to what you have to say and customize your care to your individual needs. I focus on building a lasting relationship with you and getting to know you as a person, not just a chart.

At this practice, I intentionally see fewer patients so I can provide longer appointment slots, flexibility and accessibility to my patients. You can learn more about the benefits of our practice model by browsing the rest of our website. You can also reach out to us to schedule a free informational appointment. I look forward to partnering with you to reach your healthcare goals!

About
Dr. Rushing

Dr. Justin Rushing is a board-certified family medicine doctor originally from Arab, AL. He attended medical school at University of Alabama in Birmingham after completing a Bachelor of Science in Biology at University of Alabama in Huntsville and the Rural Medicine program at Auburn University. He completed residency in Family Medicine at Floyd Medical Center, a community hospital in Rome, Georgia.

Dr. Rushing and his wife Julia chose to move to Cullman in 2020 after falling in love with the community’s rich traditions and values. They saw it as a place where they could put down roots and raise a family. After three years practicing at a local multi-specialty practice, Dr. Rushing decided he could serve his patients better by leaving insurance-funded medicine and opening a direct primary care practice. He loves that this practice model allows him to build deeper relationships with his patients and better customize their care.
